Fashion Police

Recently, a group of ten students at a high school in Ohio were threatened with harsh punishments for wearing pro-life t-shirts to class.  They wore the shirts on April 21 to remember the anniversary of Roe V. Wade.  Penalties for wearing the shirts included the following:

  • unable to attend senior prom
  • no senior skip days
  • unable to attend senior picnic
  • suspension
  • unable to walk at graduation

Andrew Flusche, American Life League attorney, stated “We commend these courageous students for standing up to bullying by their school administrators for simply voicing their pro-life beliefs.  When students become excited about life, schools should support that.” 

VoteYesForLife.com agrees.  Instead of punishing students for having strong convictions, schools should be encouraging their students.
